We suggest you put your broken or worn out glasses in a small MANILA envelope. The easiest way to get an envelope is at the US Post Office. The USPS also has small Priority Mail containers designed for sending Videos. If you want to send your package faster, use the Priority Mail video box. Do not worry about potential damage to your returned pair as we replace glasses with new ones. We do not repair your old glasses.
Note: Thin white business envelopes do not work for returned glasses as they often tear in the postal equipment causing tremendous delays or total loss of the contents.
Include your warranty card and a check or money order for the amount on your card.
Please include your current return address on the envelope. This address is the address we send your replacements to. Many times the address on people’s checks is old or different from where they now live. We use the return address supplied by you not the address on your check as a valid address.
Allow 2 ½ to 3 weeks for the glasses to get to us, be replaced and sent back to you. We replace between 250 and 300 pair per week and have been doing this for over 15 years. The turnaround time in our facility is usually 4 to 5 days business days.
If you do not receive a return within the above time you can E-Mail us from this site or write us a post card or letter with pertinent data. We do not accept phone calls regarding returns. We have no easy way of locating your unfilled order in our facility. Once your order has been processed, filled and sent out, only then do we have a computer record of the transaction and when your package was sent out. What if I sent my glasses to the Salt Lake City UT address?
The Salt Lake City Utah address is still functional. The SLC location does mail your package to our Clearwater, Florida facility in bulk boxes twice a week. This may add one week to the total turnaround time.
How long will it take for my glasses to be returned to me?
2 ½ to 3 weeks. Packages sent to SLC Utah add one week to that. That’s a close estimate.
How much money do I send?
Please enclose the amount stated on the warranty card you received. We do not replace glasses when no check or money order is received.
What if you do not carry my style of glasses anymore?
Sunglass styles constantly change. We replace your glass with the closest style we currently carry of similar size, shape and value. We do a good job of it too!
What if I lost my glasses and have nothing to return?
We require a glass to be returned to offer a replacement. If you lost your sunglasses you are invited to order a new pair online at www.perfectglasses.com.
What if I don’t like the style that is sent to me?
Return it in the box you received it in with a note on what is wrong and we will send out a different pair to you. Please return it in “AS NEW” condition.
What if I would like to replace my glasses with a different style?
Our policy is to replace your glasses with the same style number or the closest style of equal value that we choose. If you see a style on our web site you like, you are invited to purchase that style online at www.perfectglasses.com.
